Edith Gonzalez, our Spring Intern is ending her time with NLIRH today. Thanks for your contributions at Nuestra Vida, Nuestra Voz Edith!
Some parting words from her:
Hello to all:
Today is my official last day as an intern at NLIRH, tear. The internship has been a rewarding experience, not only because I was able to work with amazing, intellectual, experienced, outgoing, and beautiful feminists, but because the Latina Institute epitomizes leadership and represents the multiple perspectives behind the struggle for the women of color community within the reproductive justice framework. A factor that is often disregarded, but actually having that platform, is definitely reassuring and motivational as a young Latina.
I will, nonetheless, continue blogging about my future travels in Mexico and as a devotee of NLIRH. My Brown Black and Queer blog contributions will also continue to unfold. So, it is not goodbye, but an HASTA PRONTO!
-Edith Gonzalez Flores, Spring Policy and Communications Intern
