This is a very broad statement.  We are a melting pot of culture and ethnic diversity.  Is it further specified or broken down by ethnicity?  While this is certainly a deplorable fact, I wonder if the gravity of the situation can be further brought home by delineating the breakdown in healthcare, or lack there of, for minority populations?  I ask because I am particularly interested in specific information on health disparities for Latinas with regards to maternal and/or infant/fetal health issues and outcomes.]]></description>
